Online shopping

I am curious to find out what websites you all use to shop online. Here's my list:

BookFinder.com
Overstock.com
PriceGrabber.com
BigLots.com
Woot.com (and Wine.woot and Shirt.woot)

I also use CurrentCodes.com to seek out coupons and discounts before making any purchases. I have had great experiences with BookFinder, particularly when searching for textbooks. Overstock isn't fabulous, but it can be good. I don't know PriceGrabber and BigLots well, but have heard good things.

  1. Amazon of course and also Christopher Elbow chocolates.

(By the way, Bart/Carly, since you're coming to StL and I'm putting in a big order just before Christmas anyway, if you want anything from the store let me know and I can cover the shipping and have it here when you come)

  2. Never actually used it, but there's also Deals of America

  3. I am a huge proponent of Amazon. I pretty much buy everything from them. It almost never happens that I find a better price, except for cables I use monoprice.com.

  4. I, too, am an Amazon devotee, but I usually check out specs and compare prices at cnet.com before buying any electronics. And zappos.com is the best for shoes - free shipping and returns.

  5. Oh, oh, oh! Also, retrevo.com. Big fan.
