    I really enjoyed this article. I hope that somewhere there exists footage documenting both his normal life and his participation in research projects. His Wikipedia page is pretty interesting too.

    You've probably heard or read about him, but you should check out the Wikipedia page on Phineas Gage, as well - a really interesting, landmark memory-loss case.
