One can only imagine how much time hacker-types spend fantasizing about everything from wizards to French maids. But imagine being a hacker who found a way to more-or-less take control of the entire internet. One who found a flaw so critical, so fundamental, he could easily get into the email and back account of anyone he wanted, to redirect any internet request as he saw fit.

I read this article this morning and really enjoyed it. I can't believe that someone leaked the technique before the guy who discovered it presented it. Jerks.
ReplyDeleteTotal side thought, but if you survey a wide variety of news sites every day, make sure The Daily Beast is one of them. It's not necessarily better than other sites, but has a higher likelihood of having a good article that other sites don't have.
