"Do We Need a New Internet?"

Not quite sure what to say about this, mostly because I know nothing about internet security. I don't like the idea of trading privacy for safety (in any context), but maybe I should be more worried about security in this case...?

    Yeah, that's pretty crazy. I was wonder about stuff like that. We tend to think that nothing will come of it, and then you've got something like Y2K, or today's news of the nuclear submarine crash in Europe.
