Guess who said it

"My concern has been the atrocities there in Darfur and the relevance to me with that issue as we spoke about Africa and some of the countries there that were kind of the people succumbing to the dictators and the corruption of some collapsed governments on the continent, the relevance was Alaska’s investment in Darfur with some of our permanent fund dollars."

  1. Wow, I actually got it right! OK, I had it down to the right answer and LeBron James (yes, he really did make some odd comments on Darfur) but this was extremely similar to a question about the economy asked in an interview that I saw, so yeah ...

  3. How is she going to write a book??? Even with the greatest stenographer in the world it will be impossible to nail down her phrasing, timing, and meaning.

Carly, Katie, and I were recently watching a show on body language and speech that highlighted Barack Obama's rhythmic speech patterns that can lull almost anyone into a Barack-philic trance. If Barack is, let's say, Mozart, then I guess that makes Palin Schoenberg, known for his atonal work. Her speeches are as lyrical as a bear mauling a Russian in her yard.
