We beg the world to take that extra second to think.

FYI
Woot is having a Woot-off. Don't get too excited right now because they've been on the same damn Roomba for about a half-hour, but after that things should get interesting. They had a 3.2 GHz desktop for $165
Sorry, it's a mainstay for me. The idea is that each day they sell one thing (but only until it sells out), usually electronics, and nearly always at the best price on the internet. Even though I check it everyday, I'd say I buy something every 2-3 months at the most, but when they hit something you want, they're impossible to beat.
One thing I will say is that they have a number of digital cameras that appear on the site, and in my experience, they're always pretty crappy. Not to say that won't change, but that's one thing I'd be careful buying.
Oh, and today is a special thing called a Woot-Off, where they cycle through a small quantity of a large number of items, providing all day shopping excitement!
And PS - Woot-offs are the ideal situation for the Firefox add-on "Reload Every," which will automatically refresh the page at a specified interval of time.
I have been watching it too. It has been pretty terrible so far, though I did enjoy the fake pirate story about the Bluetooth Dongle.
ReplyDeletewoah, i was not aware of this site's existence. very cool.
